Explore your artistic side as you learn and incorporate drawing techniques. Pre-registration required. Tickets available – http://www.libraryinsight.net. Limited to those in grades 5-9.

>Guest Author Lisa Wheeler Visit @ the Ionia Community Library (Ionia) – 10:30a – 11:30a
Popular children’s and 2017 Michigan Reads’ author Lisa Wheeler will be here to share her book, Bubble Gum. Hour includes puppets, songs, and multimedia. Free admission.
Wednesday, March 29th
>Toddler Story Time @ the East Lansing Public Library (East Lansing) – 10a – 10:30a
Story Time is designed for children ages 18-36 months and their caregivers. Children enjoy stories, movement, rhymes, games, free play – all designed to build pre-reading skills in little ones.
>Introduction to Sign Language @ the Howell Carnegie Library (Howell) – 1p – 1:30p
Learn the basics of American Sign Language (ASL) such as the alphabet, numbers, and basic greetings. Class open to those currently grades K-6. Pre-registration required, tickets available at http://www.libraryinsight.net.

Friday, March 31st:
>Project Feeder Watch: Make & Take @ Fenner Nature Center (Lansing) – 12p-1p
This is a make & take event to help inspire the little bird watcher in you! Participants can choose to decorate a small pair of binoculars or a small bird feeder. Cost is $3/child. Ages 5-10 with an adult. Tickets available at http://www.mynaturecenter.org.

Free movie admission for kids ages 12 and under!! Check website for theater participation and show times.
Saturday, April 1st:
>Maple Sugar Days & Pancake Breakfast @ Shawhaven Farm (Mason) – 8a – 1p
Activities, demonstrations, trail walking, hand-tapping trees, and old-fashioned sap boiling demo await you. Plus animal viewing. All-you-can-eat-pancakes will be served in the barn. Cost for breakfast is $7/adults and $6/kids ages 12 and under. Reoccuring on Sunday, April 2nd between 8a-1p.
